Patriot President George Washington tells Tea Party, “Pay Your Damn Taxes And Shut UP!”

The United States in 1789, during the presidency of George Washington, told farmers who sold their grain in the form of whiskey had to pay a new tax which was a part of Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton’s program to pay off the National Debt.

Those clueless Teabaggers who like to claim the values of our Patriot Founding Fathers like George Washington only have to look at the “Whiskey Rebellion” to see how President George Washington handled this situation when he sent in the Federal Troops to enforce their payment to their fair share of taxes owed for the “Collective Good” benefits of this country.

Tea Party Members enjoy the federally funded programs and benefits of this country so they have to take on and pay their share of this financial duty. Anything else is anti-American and harming to the country.

Just as I have said often before, “Extremism in any form has no longevity and is short lived,” but I will let Chris Littleton, the cofounder of the Ohio Liberty Council, which is a statewide coalition of Tea Party groups in Ohio, sum it up below:

“The Tea Party movement is dead. It’s gone! I think largely the Tea Party is irrelevant in the primaries. They aren’t passionate about any of the candidates, and if they are passionate, they just pick the most extreme aspects with no chance of even being considered for office.”

Well this sums it up for me and I will close by saying, “TOLD YOU SO DUMB ASSES!”  Now get the hell out of my Republican Party so the more “SANE MEMBERS” of us can get the Party back on track to what it once was.

It’s a shame that the modern Tea Party corrupted the memory of the original patriots in Boston harbor lo those many years ago. Yet it reminds me, Engineer, of today’s right-wing of your political party who co-opted your Grand Old Party and now hold it hostage to the highest political and corporate bidder.

People with only cursory knowledge of history are the one who bend it for their own personal gain. And they rely on many others, equally ignorant of historical fact, to join them in their misadventures.

    Hello Muddy,
Ignorance does breed ignorance and today my Republican Party is running rampant with it to the point it has now become an epidemic.

Like Harry Truman said, “The only thing new is the history you have not learned.”

Way to go, Engineer of Knowledge—that’s tellin ’em! Today’s “Tea Party” leaders are a bunch of seditionists, whom George Washington would most certainly imprison! He’d probably hang Grover Norquist, too.
